Ellie Leake is a student at the Renaissance School, and working to build a portfolio to attend an art school for college. Her work is mostly based on observations made. She Enjoys painting impressionistic and figurative style of paintings, based off of real-life things but adding a strange and unusual aspect to it.

I am a High School student at the moment and mostly do impressionistic style paintings. I feel like the amount of work I've done isn't enough to truly be able to put a label on my "style" of painting. I enjoy creating pieces based off of real-life things, then adding aspects to them to make them weird and unique. I feel most influenced by artists such as Van Gogh, Kathy Ramsey Carr, Basquiat, and other similar artists. While these artists seem to contrast greatly, I feel all of their works have a different expression and beauty, something I try to include within my own art.
