Artist Statement

My series highlights the variety of my artwork. Whether that be Photographing flowers, or drawing David Byrne, I don’t always expect my show to have much consistency. However, what unifies these pieces is the fact that they are so unique to me.

Emmett Angle-Davis is a Junior student at the Renaissance School. He has been interested in art since freshman year. His drawing style is distinctly bold, and has drawn comparisons to 20th Century German Expressionism. He is also an avid photographer, with subjects ranging from Fire Hydrants to Pink Dogwoods. In his spare time, he enjoys acting and riding his bike around Charlottesville.
